Bulk Equipment’s New Website Showcases Products & Services
Bulk Equipment was founded in 1987 in Ellaville, Georgia, by Melvin Collins to provide bulk transport solutions to local customers. As demand grew, so did the once small, family-owned business. In 2021, Mark Waddell assumed leadership of the company. He continues to uphold and instill the same core values, including a strong dedication to customer service and a commitment to high-quality workmanship that have been foundational since the company's beginning.
Today, the Bulk Equipment family of companies—Southeastern Pneumatic, Southwestern Pneumatic, Preferred Lowboys, and Pneumatic Exports—has six locations in four states: Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, and Texas, providing pneumatic trailers, dump trailers, grain trailers, lowboys, liquid tankers, and more to companies across the U.S. and internationally.
In addition to offering an array of trailers and blowers for sale, Bulk Equipment provides comprehensive services, including custom trailer modifications, sandblasting, trailer reconditioning, wreck repair and fabrication, and inspections, testing, rebuilds, and installation of blowers. “We provide a lot of services in our shop that I think a lot of companies do not,” says Joey Stephens, digital platforms and marketing manager for Bulk Equipment. “Our sales and service teams are super experienced and really know their stuff.”
Generating Leads With Truck Paper
One key to Bulk Equipment’s success is advertising with Truck Paper. “We’ve used Truck Paper for a long time,” says Stephens. “It generates a large majority of our sales leads.”
A New Site To Reach New Customers
Bulk Equipment recently chose Sandhills Global to host its new website (BulkEquipment.com), prompted by its positive experiences with the platform. “It’s been so good working with the people at Truck Paper and Sandhills that we knew it would be a good experience moving forward with the website, too. And it was,” says Stephens.
The company is very happy with how the website turned out. “Through Inventory Management, our website is integrated with Truck Paper, so our inventory goes straight to TruckPaper.com with no extra work,” Stephens says. “Our new website is fast, and it looks really good. We have contact forms in the right places, so customers can easily reach out to us. Everything comes through in email, which enables us to give quick turnaround times on inquiries. It just works.”
Highlighting Products & Services
When a buyer browsing TruckPaper.com clicks on one of Bulk Equipment’s trailer listings, they will see a link they can click to go to the Bulk Equipment website to see all the company’s listings in one place. That feature is especially helpful for companies like Bulk Equipment that operate multiple subsidiaries.
In addition to viewing Bulk Equipment’s inventory for trailers and blowers, visitors can request service, apply for financing, and contact a specific location, all without leaving the website.
New Offerings In The Future
Bulk Equipment will soon introduce new offerings, including a new line of trailers. Stephens is also busy setting up a parts store on the website to sell parts online, adding to the ways Bulk Equipment can serve customers from its new hosted website.
